Paula graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last June with her degree in Software Engineering and a minor in Computing for Interactive Arts. Two of her favorite projects at Cal Poly were creating a sensor reactive dance suit and working with the California Strawberry Commission and AWS to use RaspberryPi’s to capture farm images/sensor telemetry remotely and send them back to a web app for classification. Now, she is working at Microsoft as a software engineer on the Azure ML FPGA team, most recently helping integrate their service with the Databox Edge team.
