The session examines Process Manufacturing Predictive Maintenance with a focus on the following two main differentiation factors: A) Preferred types  of sensors for Industrial IoT (the big six) and B) Pre-processing at the edge and how to use embedded edge technology to improve: 1) Connectivity: Resolves excessive payload, and bandwidth problems; 2) Database storage: Resolves clogging database with Terabytes of useless data; 3) Data homogenization: Resolves the data homogenization problem by assigning simplified vectorial values to complex spectrum like data & 4) A.I. Models: Greatly improves the results while A.I. by getting rid of garbage data.
