In an environment where mass production and miniaturization is driving the process industry there is a need for better and better sensors at lower and lower costs. This session presents the performance characterization results of small temperature compensated ceramic capacitance sensors capable of achieving high performance. It compares the results to the typical specifications offered in the market today by the manufacturers of small ceramic pressure sensors for both OEM or transducer pressure sensing applications.
