This session explores the increasing need for security in the IoT sector. By 2025 IoT connected devices are predicted to number over 75 billion. This brings opportunities but also threats. IoT ecosystems are extremely complex with multiple systems working at once, which increases vulnerabilities. Attendees learn how the combination of unprecedented botnet capabilities, legacy connected devices, and lack of end-user awareness creates significant security threats and how to be proactive in their response.
