This session presents a new level of energy efficiency for always-on keyword detect command recognition. MEMS sensors are at the forefront of mobile and edge computing devices providing machine intelligence for always-on always listening applications. Traditional Voice Activity detection in an always-on system is always listening to speech activity in standby mode and therefore only provides sub-optimal performance in power consumption for battery operated products.
